She Grows Strong

The She Grows Strong is a program that supports Aboriginal girls aged 10–18 through small, culturally safe group sessions led by Lori-Ann.

Delivered across three hands-on sessions, the program focuses on building confidence, strengthening cultural identity, and creating strong connections to community.

What participants will experience:

• Storytelling and sharing personal and cultural connections 
• Cultural art and creative expression 
• Clothing design and hands-on creativity 
• Cooking traditional foods and learning life skills 

Each participant receives a She Grows Strong T-shirt featuring Aboriginal colours, reinforcing pride, belonging, and identity beyond the program.

This initiative will be delivered by Strong Spirit in 2026 and is proudly funded by the NSW Government.
